Speaking with the Angel

Speaking With The Angel is a collection of short stories, edited by Nick Hornby. In it, he combines twelve different content texts written by well-known English-language authors such as Irvine Welsh, Helen Fielding, the actor Colin Firth and of itself Hornby

The German edition was published in 2001 by Kiepenheuer & Petrovich, the paperback edition was published in 2003 in Knaur. Were translated into German, among others, the stories of Clara Drechsler and Harald Hellmann.

Background

The editor Nick Hornby, whose son Danny is autistic, is a founding member of TreeHouse, a British initiative, which campaigns for better education of autistic children. The revenue of Speaking With The Angel came fully benefit of the organization.
