Action

Winspector is the special unit of the Metropolitan Police, which is always called when a case for the normal police appear hopeless. The series takes place in a futuristic high-tech company in the Japanese urban jungle of 1999 ( for those days in the future). The team consists of three men and two robots. Robin Kagawa, Chief Masaki, Junko Fujino and the robots Brian and Walter. Depending on the other members of them are still on hand to help. With the help of highly advanced equipment make it the people of Winspector always to triumph against unscrupulous criminals. So Robin Kagawa, for example, was the only one of his colleagues, a cyborg -like armor ( Crush Tector ) carry on the way to carry a victory in particularly dangerous situations. In the transformed state, it is called Fire. In addition, they are vehicles. Robin drives a sports car, which serves him well as a police vehicle as well as special armored vehicle used in the transformed state ( WinSquad called, taking it is a Chevrolet Camaro RS). Brian drives a special motorcycle ( Winchaser called ) and Walter can fly using a rocket pack.

Successor

Under the name Tokkyu Shirei Solbrain (特 救指 令 ソルブレインTokkyu Shirei Soruburein ) a follow-up series of Winspector was produced in the Chief Masaki, has built up after the departure of Robin, Junko, Brian and Walter to France a new police force. Robin, however, has guest appearances in some episodes. The series was never translated into German. Solbrain differs from the style of strong Winspector. While still presented with credible Winspector much, though sometimes with a bit of humor, Solbrain goes more in the direction of series such as Power Rangers, as much looks much more artificial than in Winspector. There are, for example, in Solbrain robots that transform into construction and emergency vehicles, similar to Transformers. These look more like plastic toys than real cars or robots like in Winspector. As followers of the series Solbrain Tokusou Exceedraft was produced, even further away from Winspector and presents itself as a normal tokusatsu series. With more Power Rangers - enemies.
