Specioza Kazibwe

Specioza Naigaga Wandira Kazibwe ( born July 1, 1955 in Iganga, eastern Uganda ) is a Ugandan politician and women's rights activist and former Vice-President.

Life

After studying medicine at Makerere University in Kampala, she worked as a doctor.

Your political career began as a member of the youth and women's organization the " Ugandan Democratic Party " ( UDP). In the early 1980s she was local chairman, founded by Yoweri Museveni " National Resistance Movement " (NAM ). After working as a Frauenrepräsentin the NRM in the district of Kampala in 1986 she was chairman of the campaign advisory committee of Museveni in his first presidential bid in 1986.
