" Spinning Around " was written by Ira shickman, Osborne Bingham, Kara DioGuardi and Paula Abdul, and produced by Lorenzo al Dino aka 7th District Inc.. The song was originally intended for Abdul's next album. Minogue was later included the song for their seventh studio album Light Years ( 2000). "Spinning Around" is a moderately fast-paced dance-pop song with influences of disco.
Music Video
The video of "Spinning Around" was filmed in two days. It is often considered as a metamorphosis in Minogue's career. It shows Minogue in tiny gold hot pants dancing in a nightclub.
