Spiral - Dangerous Truth (Japaneseスパイラル~推理 の 絆~ Supairaru - Suiri no Kizuna ) is a manga series of the Japanese signatory Eita Mizuno on a story by Kyo Shirodaira. Based on the manga, which can be assigned to the shōnen genus, followed by an anime series, a four-volume light novel series and radio plays.

Action

Narumi Ayumus brother disappeared two years ago in a strange way. His only clue was the " Blade Children ". After these two years, began a series of murders that are always associated with the cursed children. Ayumu tried everything to find out more about them. After each case he solves, he comes to the mystery a little bit closer. Help he gets from his school friend Hiyono that always stands him in educating the side.

The " Blade Children " Ayumu always ask for tests, so-called "Games " to see if he can complete the various tasks. The first challenge he gets by Eyes Rutherford, one of the Blade Children. They also believe that Ayumu could save them from their curse.

Publications

The manga was released in Japan from August 1999 to October 2005 in individual chapters in the manga magazine Monthly Shōnen Gangan. The publisher Enix, then Square Enix, this single chapter brought between March 2000 and February 2002 in 15 out collective bands.

From July 2009 to March 2012, the manga was published by Carlsen Comics in German, also in 15 volumes.

Add Enix / Square Enix's Monthly Gangan Wing manga magazine 5/2001, ie 26 March 2001, first appeared in the prequel Spiral Alive. Later this was also in the magazine Monthly Shōnen Gangan where it with issue 6/2008, ie of 12 May 2008, ended. Between April 2002 and August 2008, the chapters were grouped into five anthologies.

From October 2002 to March 2003 anime series ran on the Japanese broadcaster TV Tokyo based on the manga. The 25 episodes complete series produced the animation studio JCStaff. It was directed by Shingo Kaneko.

The anime was released in the U.S. on DVD by Funimation.
