Spyros Kyprianou Athletic Center

Spyros Kyprianou Athletic Center is the largest sports arena in Cyprus. The arena is in the town of Limassol, summarizes 6,225 visitors and also offers 42 wheelchair spaces. It was named after the former President of Cyprus, Spyros Kyprianou, named and is also known under the name " Palais de Sports ".

The project was launched by the Cyprus Sport Organisation. Construction began in 2002 and lasted until the year 2005 at a cost point of C £ 8.5 million (approx. € 14.5 million ).

Events

The Sports Arena was the center of some events, including of the FIBA Europe All- Star Game. November 2008 took place the Junior Euro Vision Song Contest 2008 here.
