The S & T System Integration & Technology Distribution AG was a provider of IT consulting, solutions and services headquartered in Vienna, with a focus on Central and Eastern Europe. The S & T Group was present in 17 countries.

History

The launch of the company in 1993 in Slovakia and Bulgaria. In the following years further branches were established in Romania and former Yugoslavia. S & T was as Full Function distributor for Hewlett Packard in the early years specialized in the distribution of IT hardware and software, and directed from 2000 to IT consulting and services from.

The IPO of S & T in 1998 on the EASDAQ (now NASDAQ Europe ). Subsequently, the company grew through the establishment of branches or through the acquisition of companies. 1999 about advanced S & T Hermes Plus by buying their presence in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia - Herzegovina and Macedonia. The branch in Slovenia was later reinforced somewhat by the adoption of e-business company ICOS.

As of 1999, S & T has also the distribution of medical products. Today, S & T is for Philips in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Romania and Slovakia, the exclusive distributor for medical products.

With the acquisition of Largo Systems, the company received a branch in Poland in 2000. 2001 bought S & T switch in Slovenia, INNET in Hungary and the Czech Republic as well as in Neos Computer Netway computer system in Romania. 2002 was followed by the extension to Montenegro. The company Epsilon in Croatia and Slovenia were taken over Atlantis in 2003. Likewise, Fujitsu Services subsidiaries in six countries. In the same year S & T moved from EASDAQ on the Vienna Stock Exchange.

S & T is now represented in the following countries: Albania, Bosnia - Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Austria, and has minority interests in the Ukraine, Russia, China and Moldova.

Core business of S & T are consulting, development, implementation and operation of customized IT solutions, processes and systems. S & T serves companies along the entire IT value chain in manufacturing, retail, telecommunications, government, financial services, energy and utilities industry. The S & T AG is headquartered in Vienna and has been listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange since 2003.

S & T works with Oracle, Microsoft, Hewlett -Packard, IBM, SAP, EMC, Cisco and Infor.

Currently, the S & T is set to 36,40 % owned by the Quanmax AG and 26.46 % owned by Grosso Holding GmbH. 37.10% of the shares are in free float.

On September 10, 2012 it was announced that the S & T System Integration & Technology Distribution AG and Quanmax AG will merge. The merger was completed on 12 December 2012. The S & T System Integration & Technology Distribution AG was merged into Quanmax AG, which then renamed itself in S & T AG.
