Stabæk Fotball Kvinner

Stabæk Fotball Kvinner (short: Stabæk FK; Norwegian called Stabæk women's soccer ) is a Norwegian women's football club from Bærum. The club won Asker SK as six times the national championship and in 2006 went back to the first division. For the 2009 season, the club was incorporated into the club Stabæk IF.

History

On December 14, 1889, the Asker Skiklubb (short: Asker SK) was founded. Initially, the club was a pure ski - club, but gradually other departments were added.

The women's football department was able to win the first title in 1984. In the Cup Final Sprint / Jeløy was beaten 2-1. Overall, the club was five times Cup winners and stood seven more times in the cup final. The championship was won six times. 1991 even the double was brought to Asker. A deserted record was set on the team in the 1998 season when the club won all championship games. To date, this feat is no other club again succeeded.

On 6 December 2000, the women's football department started his own under the name Asker FK. After the turn of the millennium Asker FK kept in the leading group, but was overtaken by Kolbotn IL and Trondheim -Ørn SK. In 2005 the club was denied a license because of financial reasons and Asker FK had to go take the descent. However, the team succeeded in the immediate resurgence. In the cup made ​​the team a sensation and only lost in the final Røa IL 3-2 gates. After the climb, the team immediately became third and missed the championship just barely.

After renewed financial problems, the club affiliated to the club Stabæk IF. Under this name, the team was undefeated champion in 2010. In 2013, two Round secured before the season ends for the eighth time the championship.
