The Stade Louis Achille is a sports stadium in Fort- de -France on the belonging to France Caribbean island of Martinique. It is primarily used for football and athletics.

It was the main stadium of Martinique until 1988, the Stade Georges Gratiant and 1993, the Stade Pierre Aliker were opened. The Good Luck Club de Fort -de -France contributes its games from here as well as various national teams of the Football Federation of Martinique LFM. History

1923 decided the council of Fort-de -France and the management of the Athletics Federation USMSA the construction of a sports complex in the Bellevue area. Especially Secretary-General Félix Éboué was involved in the construction of this and made ​​significant progress. In 1937 he was finally officially opened. 1947 belonged to the sports complex, a football field of 110 x 75 m, a basketball court and an equestrian center. The stadium could seat 6,000 people; there were 900 seats.

In 1950, the stadium after Louis Achille, a local school teacher of history and English, and former President of the USMSA was named.

In 1970, the Santos with Pele at the Stade Louis Achille guest. They beat the national football team of Martinique 4-1.

The Stade Louis Achille is a sports complex with competition and training facilities for football, athletics, handball, volleyball and basketball.

2007 was decided by the General Council of Martinique, a comprehensive renovation. For € 1,557,000 was provided.
