The Stadio Bruno Benelli is a football stadium in the Italian city of Ravenna, Emilia -Romagna region. The football team of Ravenna Calcio bears in the city 's sports venue of their home games.

History

After four years of construction, the stadium originally 6,000 seats and was opened on 29 September 1966. For the inauguration of about four kilometers from the city center remote system Ravenna Calcio played against Juventus; that ended in a 3-1 win for Juve. In 1993 Ravenna Calcio promotion to Serie B, so the stadium for the 1993/94 season extensively renovated and the capacity was doubled to about 12,000 seats. These additional bleachers were set up on the back straight and the curves.
