Stadler Regio-Shuttle RS1

Technical information

Orders

In 2009, ordered the transport company agilis, a subsidiary of BeNEX, 38 Regio-Shuttle for the diesel power Upper Franconia on which it commenced operations in June 2011 and December 2012. Thus, Stadler Pankow sold the 450th vehicle of the type Regio-Shuttle RS1. Delivery of the vehicles will begin in early 2012. The passenger service by the Württemberg Railway Company Ltd. ( WEG) is expected to join in the first half of 2012. The Erfurt train has 40 RS1 for use on eight railway lines in eastern Thuringia ordered from June 2012. But another source reported the order of only 38 vehicles. The first of 37 new RS1 were in February 2012 shortly before delivery.

The Vogtlandbahn has taken on 10 February 2012 the first of eight new railcars of the type Regio Shuttle RS1 by the manufacturer Stadler Pankow GmbH for the future " Vogtland network 2012". The delivery of other new vehicles should be carried out continuously until the end of June 2012. The use is to take place from December 2012. Use at Deutsche Bahn

The German railway began in 1999 in order to provide 650 series vehicles in service. June 2005 drove 74 units at the DB. They are used as 650001-027, 650100-122, 650201-203 and 650301-321 called. 650100-119 and 650201-203 were funded by the State of Baden- Wuerttemberg. 650001-027 and 650100-122 are identical in construction, 650201-203 and 650301-321 are organized cycling vehicles, but otherwise identical to the other regions shuttles.
