Stampriet is a village in Namibia, approximately 40 km east of Mariental. The place belongs to the constituency Mariental country. Stampriet lies on 1177 m height in a fertile river oasis of Auob Rivier and is therefore, in contrast to the surrounding areas and the western foothills of the Kalahari, relatively green.

Stampriet was founded in 1898 as a trading post in German South-West Africa and was again the scene of armed clashes between Germans and Nama. Stampriet is the intersection of the main roads and and has an airfield.
