Stan Valckx

Stanislaus ( "Stan" ) Henricus Christina Valckx ( born October 20, 1963 in Arcen ) is a former Dutch football player.

Game story

The defender ( Vorstopper ) began his career in 1983 at VVV Venlo. For this club, he played 5 years, including 3 years in the first division before moving to PSV Eindhoven in 1988. In 1991 he transferred to Sporting Lisbon, but he returned after 2 years back to PSV, before he ended his career in 2000.

In addition, he recorded 20 missions for the Dutch national team, in which he scored a goal. He made his debut on 26 September in 1990 in a match against Italy, which was lost with 0:1.

From 2004 to 2008 Valckx was manager at PSV in the 2009/10 season he has been Technical Director at the Chinese first division club Shanghai Shenhua.
