Stanislav Angelov

Stanislav Angelov [ stanisɫaf angɛɫɔf ] ( Bulgarian Станислав Ангелов, English transcription Stanislav Angelov, . Born April 12, 1978 in Sofia) is a Bulgarian football player.

Career

Angelov, which is usually used as a right-back, comes from the football school of CSKA Sofia, where he succeeded in 1998, the leap into the professional squad. At the beginning of the season 2001/ 02 changed the all-rounder to Levski Sofia, where he scored nine goals in 127 league games.

For the season 2007/ 08 Angelov moved to Germany, where he obtained a contract until 2010 dated signed with Energie Cottbus. His first game for the then German first division was on 19 August 2007, a 2-1 loss to VfL Bochum. His first goal for FC Energie Cottbus was December 1, 2007 in a 2-0 win against Karlsruher SC. In 2009 he went with Energie Cottbus from the second division.

From summer 2010 Angelov was in the service of the Romanian football club Steaua Bucharest. After he was rarely used in the first round of the 2010/11 season, he moved to the winter break to Anorthosis Famagusta Cyprus.

After more than a year in Cyprus Angelov returned to his home to his former club Levski Sofia in the summer of 2012.
