Stanislav Neuhaus

Stanislaw Genrichowitsch Neuhaus (Russian Станислав Генрихович Нейгауз; born March 21, 1927 in Moscow, † January 24, 1980 ) was a Russian pianist.

Neuhaus was the second son of the Russian pianist and professor at the Moscow Conservatory Heinrich Neuhaus. He studied piano in its class to 1953 and from 1957 was one of his three assistants (besides Lev Naumov and Yevgeny Malinin ). Some students were studying his father after his death in 1964 with Stanislaw Neuhaus further, Radu Lupu. In 1977 he became a professor at the Moscow Conservatory. Neuhaus died unexpectedly in 1980 at the age of only 52 years.

Recordings exist by Melodiya and Denon.

Neuhaus ' son is the pianist Stanislav Bunin.
