Stanley Ho

Stanley Ho ( born November 25, 1921) is a Chinese businessman from Hong Kong and Macao. According to the magazine Forbes in the Greater China Billionaires list Ho is one of the ten richest Chinese.

Life

Ho studied at Queen's College in Hong Kong. He controls a group of eight casinos, including the Grand Lisboa Macau. In the 1960s, he also had nine casinos in the Philippines. These casinos he gave up when he came into conflict with the Philippine president. In addition to its casinos has Ho betting in football, horse racing and dog racing in China. For many years, the casino and entertainment industry in Macau was largely under the control of the Group STDM, the Ho belongs.
