StarRoc is an American record label and a music publisher.

History

StarRoc was founded in 2008 by American hip hop artist Jay -Z and the Norwegian songwriter and producer Mikkel S. Eriksen Duo and Tor Erik Hermansen ( Stargate ). The label is a 50:50 partnership between Stargate and Jay -Z ' Roc Nation label, which he founded in the same year, together with Live Nation. StarRoc is based in Jay -Z ' recording studio, Roc The Mic, in Manhattan, New York City, United States.
