Starsiedel is a district of the town Lützen in Burgenland district, in Saxony -Anhalt.

Geography

Starsiedel on the southwestern edge of the Leipzig lowlands between the cities of White Rock, Lützen, Zwenkau and Hohenmolsen is on the slightly wavy, sparsely wooded plateau between the Saale River in the west and the White Elster in the east. History

Traffic

Two kilometers north of Starsiedel is the motorway junction Lützen on the A 38 from Goettingen to Leipzig, a few kilometers from the Rippachtal (connection to the A9 from Berlin to Munich). Other roads connect Starsiedel with Weissenfels, Lutzen, Markham, Zwenkau and Hohenmolsen. The nearest railway station is located in White Rock.
