State Opera

State Opera, National Opera also is called a momentous Opera House, which is operated by the public sector. In Europe, Italy has the oldest and most famous opera houses, but in artistic interest are Paris, Vienna and some German opera houses equally.

Austria

  • Vienna State Opera ( oldest German-language opera, since 1863 on the ring road ), previously kk Vienna Court Opera (from the 15th century, under different names )
  • Furthermore, the Vienna Volksoper ( also Federal Theatre), Theater an der Wien,

In Germany public opera houses are usually partially supported by the federal states of the communities.
