Steep Point

Steep Point is a Cape in Western Australia on the Indian Ocean. It marks the westernmost point of mainland Australia, but not the most westerly point of the Australian territory. This is, without consideration of the Australian territories, on the just north of Steep Point, Dirk Hartog lying Iceland. The next lying on Steep Point location is Denham on Shark Bay. The cape is located within the Shark Bay Marine National Park.
