Stefan Erkinger

Stefan Erkinger ( born September 1, 1981 in Lienz) is an Austrian football player at the position of midfielder.

Career

Erkinger began his career with the ASV Lienz in East Tyrol. Later he moved to SV Rapid Lienz, the bigger club in the East Tyrolean capital. About FC Nussdorf / Debant also in the district of Lienz he came to Grazer AK. In 2004, he came into the first team squad, but could not prevail and there was given to SV Kapfenberg. In 2008 he managed with the falcon promotion to the Bundesliga. His debut in the highest class were Erkinger on 9 July 2008 against LASK Linz. He was replaced in the 54th minute against Herbert Wieger. His first Bundesliga goal he achieved on August 2, 2008 compared to SK Rapid Wien head.

After seven years at the Upper Styrian Erkinger moved in summer 2012 to SK Austria Klagenfurt.
