Stefan Walz

Stefan Walz ( b. 1963 ) is a Swiss actor. His most famous role is the figure of Sigmund Jähn resembling a taxi driver in the film Good Bye, Lenin!.

Biography

Stefan Walz experienced at the Bern Conservatory spectacle. From 1992 to 1998 he was engaged at the Little Theatre chamber Games Landshut and is part of the foundation of the chamber ensemble Games Landshut. Since 1995 he has worked for television. In the years 1998-2006 he played in various engagements in Essen, Munich and Hamburg. Since 2006 he has worked at the Staatstheater Mainz.

In addition to his acting operation he has been singing for a long time in various jazz and rock formations. In addition, it also offers a variety of instruments such as guitar, bass, banjo and mandolin. Besides music, he enjoys skiing and martial arts among his hobbies.

He currently lives in Mainz. There, since 2006 it belongs to the ensemble of the Staatstheater.
