Steffen Stranz

Steffen Stranzberg ( born May 16, 1960 in Kassel) is a successful German judoka.

He finished among other things, place 5 in the 1988 Olympics in Seoul. At World and European Championships, he won two bronze medals. In addition, he was seven times consecutively German champion ( 1982-1987 ). Stranzberg launched for VfL Wolfsburg and was during his active fighter career from 1979 to 1988 member of the German national team.

He has a 6th dan (red- white) in Judo.

Steffen Stranzberg now works as a dentist in Kassel. He continues to serve as a judo coach at SC Kassel.
