Stephen H. Urquhart

Harold Stephen Urquhart (* around 1965 in Houston, Texas ) is an American politician ( Republican).

Life

Urquhart grew up in Houston, Texas. He studied biology at Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts, where he received a Bachelor of Arts. He then studied at the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where in 1992 he received a Juris Doctor. Urquhart now practiced as a lawyer in a large law firm in Newport Beach, California and Seattle, Washington, before moving into the 1990s, according to St. George, Utah, the hometown of his wife, moved there and opened his own law firm. In 2000 he was elected to the House of Representatives from Utah, where he served from 1 January 2001 to 31 December 2008. Since 1 January 2009 he has been a senator in the Senate from Utah for the 29th District.

Urquhart is married and has four children.
