Steven Loza

Steven Loza Steven Joseph Loza actually, ( born August 9, 1952) is an American ethnomusicologist.

Life

Loza studied at the California State Polytechnic University in Pomona (California ) and graduated with a BA from. He then moved to the University of California (UCLA ) to Los Angeles and dealt with there as well ethnomusicology. In 1979, his M. A. Loza and in 1985 received his doctorate with his dissertation on Mexican music in Los Angeles.

Subsequently Loza left for two years and worked at the UCLA Arts of America Institute at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. He then returned to UCLA and has been a professor of ethnomusicology.
