Steven Sharfstein

Steven Samuel Sharfstein ( born July 2, 1942 in New York City ) is an American psychologist and psychiatrist.

Scharfstein visited by his education, Dartmouth College, where he BA the reached. After that he went to the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, where in 1968 his MD obtained. After his graduation, he was from 1969 to 1972 at the Massachusetts Mental Health Center in Boston, Massachusetts, and then from 1972 to 1973 at the John F. Kennedy of Government, MPA. Sharfstein 2006 was the president of the American Psychiatric Association psychiatric organization. Furthermore, Sharfstein Clinical Professor and Vice Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Maryland.

Sharfstein is the author of more than 150 scientific articles and 40 book chapters, and co-author of ten books.
