Stonecutters Bridge is a 1.6 -kilometer-long cable-stayed bridge linking the islands of Tsing Yi and Stonecutters Iceland interconnects in Hong Kong.
The bridge is part of the Route 8 highway, which Sha Tin, Cheung Sha Wan, Tsing Yi, Ma Wan and Lantau Iceland together. Judging by their longest span of just over a kilometer it is after the Sutong Bridge is the second longest cable-stayed bridge in the world. Construction costs amounted to 2.76 billion Hong Kong dollars.
It was released on 20 December 2009 for the traffic.
