Stoppila Sunzu

Stophira Sunzu ( born June 22, 1989 in Chingola ), often in the spelling Stoppila Sunzu, is a Zambian footballer.

Career

Sunzu began his career at Afrisports. In 2005 he moved with his brother Felix Sunzu to the Konkola Blades. In 2007 he returned to his youth club and played in the following seasons on loan at FC Zanaco and in France at LB Châteauroux. It was followed by five years at Tout Puissant Mazembe. Since the winter break 2013/14 he plays in the Ligue 1 for FC Sochaux.

Internationally

Sunzu made ​​his international debut for Zambia in 2008 against Botswana. He also played in the U-20 team of Zambia and presented his country at the U -20 World Cup in Canada. In the final of the African Cup of Nations 2012, he scored the winning penalty to win the tournament Zambia.
