Storfors

Storfors is a locality ( Tätort ) in the Swedish province of Värmland County, chief town of the same name. The town lies on the River Storforsälven which connects the lakes Mögsjön and Öjevettern.

Larger towns in the area are Karlskoga ( 30 km southeast ), Kristinehamn (28 km south) and Karlstad (50 km southwest). The town has a railway station located on the Inland Railway Mora - Kristinehamn. The dominant industry was long the iron processing.

The local church after drawings by Tor Engloos is relatively new. It was opened in 1959. Other attractions include the courtyard of the home club with meetings during the traditional Christmas and Värmland Fire Historical Museum.
