Storm (Norwegian band)

Storm, a folk metal project of the Norwegian musician Gylve " Fenriz " Nagell ( Darkthrone ) and Sigurd was "Satyr " Wongraven ( Satyricon ).

Biography

With the aim of creating an album "national romantic music ," says the self-description; was the only album the band Nordavind, recorded in November 1994. The songs are mainly linked to melodies and lyrics of Norwegian folk songs that have been re-interpreted on the basis of stylistic elements of Nordic Black Metal and partially modified lyrics. Shortly before the completion of the album Wongraven became aware of Kari Rueslåtten which had already sung at The 3rd and the Mortal. Some of the songs were then re-recorded with her voice.

As a " hymn to Norway ", the album was released in 1995 on the record label Moonfog Productions.
