Stourport -on-Severn is a town in the Wyre Forest District of British county of Worcestershire on the River Stour in the vicinity of its confluence with the River Severn. The census carried out in 2001 in the city, the number of 19.713 inhabitants.

The city also lies at the historic Staffordshire Worcestershire Canal, which leads from the Severn to the Trent and Mersey Canal and today merely has tourist importance, but was retained because it is a protected monument.
