String orchestra

A string orchestra is an orchestra that consists solely of string instruments. In general, this Violins are ( divided into two groups), violas, cellos and double basses. Until the beginning of the 18th century nor the tenor viola existed as another voice, the (then referred to as Alt- viola) between the viola and the cello was. In the classical symphony orchestra, the string section is the heart of the action and the basis of occupation, which has been extended depending on style, event and music genre with various wind and percussion instruments.
