It begins as an outflow of the lake house in Hardenbeck in Uckermark at an altitude of 68 m above mean sea level and ends at 17.5 m above mean sea level on the edge of Prenzlau the Unteruckersee. Its catchment area begins in the northwest just 100 meters from the eastern shore of Lake Carwitzer. The private lake is one of several lakes that name.
