Strong Medicine

Strong Medicine: like fire and ice ( Original Title: Strong Medicine ) is an American television series that was produced by Tammy Ader and Whoopi Goldberg for the U.S. cable channel Lifetime. On 5 February 2006, the series was canceled in the United States after five years and a total of 132 episodes, as it was not satisfied with the ratings. The series had previously been considered the longest produced series on U.S. cable television.

Action

The two doctors, Dr. Dana Strowe and Dr. Luisa " Lu " Delgado are actually two very different women, yet they work together on the prestigious Rittenhouse Hospital of Gynecology. Dana comes from a famous family of physicians, is now Chefgynäkologin, Harvard graduate and eager to find a way to cure cancer. Luisa comes from a ghetto in Philadelphia, is a single mother and worked previously in the South Philly Women's Hospital in a low-income district, but the hospital had to be closed due to financial difficulties. While Dana can hardly feed feelings in their work, Luisa is doing its utmost to provide to their patients, especially the poor and disadvantaged.
