Stryi River

The river Stry (Ukrainian: Стрий / Stry ) is a tributary of the Dniester. On its shores is located the eponymous Ukrainian city Stry.

The Striy rises in the Carpathians, near the Polish border. In the delta of the rivers Striy and Opir the " natsional'ny park Skolivs'ki Beskydy " is ( at Skole ). Then the river flows through the city of the same name Stry and continues through Schydatschiw. Shortly thereafter, the Stry empties into the Dniester.

The length of the Stry is approximately 232 km and has a catchment area of approximately 3055 km ².
