Stubai Hohenweg

The Stubai High Trail is a hiking trail of about 120 km in length, which can be put back in eight to nine stages. It is designed as a circular route starting and finishing in Neustift. Beginning and end but also in other places, for example Fulpmes, possible.

The path leads almost exclusively through alpine and high alpine terrain at an altitude between 2000 and 3000 m and is partially covered with wire ropes and steel braces, but without touching the glacier. After the Tyrolean hiking and mountain trails concept of the Tyrolean provincial government is a so-called black mountain trail.

As bases are on the way the Stark Burger Hut, Franz -Senn -Hütte, Neue Regensburger Hut, Dresdner Hütte, Sulzenauhütte, Nürnberger Hütte, Bremer Hut and Innsbruck hut.
