The Stuiben during the descent to Gundalpe

The Stuiben (1749 m above sea level. NHN ) is a mountain of Nagelfluhkette in the Allgäu Alps. He is part of the Natural Park Nagelfluhkette international project. Bergmesse

The Stuibenmesse held annually beginning of September at the summit cross of Stuiben. It is organized by the Kolping family and the parish council Immenstadt Immenstadt -Bühl - Rough cell and musically accompanied by a delegation of the town band Immenstadt.

From Immenstadt

  • Steigbachtal - Alpe Mittelberg (1368 m above mean sea level. ) - Alpe Gund - Stuiben (duration about 3 hours)
  • Steigbachtal - Alpe Gund - Stuiben (duration about 3 hours): This route is via the so-called pig Stieg.
  • Steigbachtal - Mittagberg - Steineberg - Stuiben (approximately 6 hours): Probably the most classic route, endurance, and vertigo.

Coming from Oberstaufen

In winter, the Stuiben is a popular destination for ski touring. The ascent route with touring skis begins at the cemetery in Immenstadt or in Gschwend at the Great Alpsee.
