The Mittagberg (also abbreviated to lunch ) is a 1,451 meter high mountain in Immenstadt in the Allgäu Alps. It is part of Nagelfluhkette and the Natural Park Nagenfluhkette. The Vertical separation of the South-berg is at least 21 meters, its dominance 500 meters, the mountain is Bärenköpfle reference each.

Ascent

There are several trails that lead in part to the summit up. Here begins or ends exceeding the Nagelfluhkette.

Development

A double chairlift runs from Immenstadt in two sections to the summit. In winter, the mountain is accessible by more ski lifts. A 5.1 km long toboggan run from the summit to Immenstadt.

Among other things, is located at the middle station of the cable car, a VHF transmitter mast of Deutsche Telekom, the RSA on the radio broadcasts for 93.00 Immenstadt and environment.

Bergmesse

The mountain mass on the Mittagberg place annually at the beginning of August at the summit cross. It is organized Älpler from Immenstadt and the parish council Immenstadt -Bühl - Rough cell from D' Trachtenverein and musically accompanied by a delegation of the town band Immenstadt.
