Stura di Demonte

The Stura di Demonte is a 110 km long river in the Italian region of Piedmont. It rises near the Colle della Maddalena ( altitude: 1996 m) in the Maritime Alps. The lake is Lago della Stura at its source. After flowing through the Valle Stura di Demonte ( Stura Valley ), the river in front of Cuneo in the northern Italian plains occurs. When the mountain opens Cuneo Gesso from the right in the Stura, which opens even in Cherasco in the Tanaro.
