Maddalena Pass

K

The Col de Larche (French Col de Larche, Italian Colle della Maddalena ) is a 1991 m high, but in the course of relatively flat road crossing between France and Italy. He leads from the Vallée de l' Ubaye in the Valle Stura di Demonte. It lies between the peaks of the Alps Tête de Moise ( 3104 m) in the northeast and Tête de l' Enchastraye ( 2954 m ) in the south and is considered a boundary between the Cozie Alps in the north and the Alps in the south.

Nearest road junction to the north is the Col d' Agnel, south of the Col de la Lombard.

On the Italian side just below the pass is small, around 360 meters long Lago della Maddalena (1974 m slm ).
