Stylonuridae is a family of subordination Stylonurina from the order of sea scorpions ( Eurypterida ).
Features
In the species of the family Stylonuridae the rear edge of Metastoma was flattened or blunt. The prosomal limbs II to IV were spiny ( Ctenopterus type), V and VI but no spines had ( PageA type). The opisthosoma was undifferentiated.
Locations
Representatives of Stylonuridae family were found in North America and Europe (England and Scotland) (New York State ).

The family was erected in 1924 by Karl servant. It includes after Lamsdell, Braddy & Tetlie 2010, the following genera:
- Subfamily Laurieipterinae Ctenopterus
- Laurieipterus
