Sub Focus

Sub Focus is the stage name of the English drum and bass musician and producer Nick Douwma.

Career

Douwma, who hails from Liverpool, has produced music on a home PC since he was 13. One of his demos found its way to a charge of Ram Records, who took Douwma aka Sub Focus under contract. In 2003, he published regularly singles. He succeeded in 2005 with X -Ray / Scarecrow his breakthrough and even ended up in the British charts. In the following years he established himself not only with their own publications, but also as a remixer or a DJ for example, in the renowned London club Fabric or at the Glastonbury Festival. In 2009 he released his first album, with whom he was once again successful in the charts. In 2010 he contributed three of his hits to the Playstation game Gran Turismo 5 at.
