Such a Shame is a song by Talk Talk from 1984, which was written by Mark Hollis and Tim Friese- Greene produced by. It appeared on the album It's My Life.
History
When writing the song was inspired by the book The Mark Hollis cuber by Luke Rhinehart. When asked why Hollis used the book as a template for the song Such a Shame, he replied: " A good book, but not the lifestyle in which I would recommend ."
The publication took place on July 6th place in 1984, in contrast to its predecessor, It's My Life this synth - pop song was in many countries a top ten hit and managed in Switzerland even number one.
In France, the song was used in an advert for the Peugeot 205.
