Suche Łany

Search Łany ( German: Sucholohna ) is a district of Strzelce ( United Strehlitz ) and a mayor's office of the municipality Strzelce in Poland.

History

The place was first mentioned on 21 September 1382.

In the plebiscite in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921 385 voters voted to remain in Germany and 242 for Poland, Good Sucholohna voted 24 for Germany and 39 for Poland. Sucholohna remained with the German Reich. On January 1, 1931 Sucholohna was incorporated into the city big Strehlitz. 1936, the district was renamed in dry basis. Up to 1945 the district was in the district of Great Strehlitz.

In 1945, the German district previously under Polish administration and renamed search Łany and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950, the district came to the Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the district to re-founded powiat Strzelecki.
