Sue Napier

Sue Napier ( born January 1, 1948 in Latrobe, Tasmania as Suzanne Deidre Braid; † August 5, 2010 ) was an Australian politician.

Life

She was born on New Year's Day in 1948 and was the daughter of the Tasmanian Legislative Council member Harry Braid. From 2 July 1999 to 20 August she was the leader of the Liberal Party. She was a member of the State Assembly of Tasmania in the years 1992, 1996, 1998, 2002 and 2006.

Death

In 2008, she was diagnosed with breast cancer Napier. She succumbed to the disease on August 5, 2010.
