The Suggan Buggan River is a river in south-eastern Australia. It rises below the Forrest Hill south of the Kosciuszko National Park in the Pilot Wilderness Area, a federal conservation area. The source is still in New South Wales, directly on the border with Victoria. From there, the river flows southeast through the small town Suggan Buggan and finally flows 7 km above McKillops Bridge in the Snowy River.

The river is for the most part within nature reserves and national parks. On victorianischer page, these are the Alpine National Park (northwest of Suggan Buggan ) and the Snowy River National Park (south-east of the town ). Therefore, are with one exception, no settlements on its banks.
