Snowy-River-Nationalpark

The Snowy River National Park is a 987 km ² national park in Victoria, Australia, 323 kilometers east of Melbourne. In the north of the park is adjacent to the Alpine National Park.

The park offers the Little River Gorge one of the last natural habitats for the brush -tailed Rock Wallaby. Over 250 native species living in the area of the park, 29 of which, including the Langfuß rabbit kangaroo and the Giant Quoll are considered threatened.

The Little River Gorge is the deepest gorge in Victoria. The Little River falls to 14 km in length from 610 m on the Wulgulmerang Plateau at 122 m at the confluence with the Snowy River.
