Little-Desert-Nationalpark

The Little Desert National Park (English Little Desert National Park ) is located in the Australian state of Victoria, about 375 kilometers west of Melbourne. He now has a total area of 1,320 km ². The Little Desert National Park is divided into three regions, a western, a central and an eastern area. The annual rainfall is between 400 mm and 600 mm in the northeast to the southwest. The desert is in the individual areas from quite different soil formations which have enabled various types of vegetation zones. Here live about 670 different species of plants, which account for about a fifth of Victoria's biodiversity. Moreover, one can encounter in this area over 220 different bird species. The best time to visit the National Park is the period from August to October in the full blossoming flora.
