Lower-Goulburn-Nationalpark

The Lower Goulburn National Park is a national park in the north of the Australian state of Victoria, 185 kilometers north of Melbourne.

The park runs along the Goulburn River from Shepparton up to its confluence with the Murray River at Echuca. The vegetation consists of riparian forest next to the river and eucalyptus forests, especially with the River Red Gum species, Yellow Box and Grey Box, into the river from the more distant sites. The park provides for wildlife an important link between the mountains of the Great Dividing Range and the Murray River dar..

The park also contains more than 100 archaeological sites of the previously living there the Yorta Yorta Aboriginesstammes.
