Sulo Jääskeläinen

Sulo Usa Jääskeläinen ( born December 19, 1890 in Vyborg, Russian Empire; † January 12, 1942 in Kotka, Finland) was a Finnish ski jumpers and Nordic combined.

The starting for the Lahti club Hiihtoseura Jääskeläinen celebrated his first international success when he was in Sweden won the first Baron of Willi Brandt Challenge Cup on March 5, 1911. 1923 and 1924 he won the Lahti Ski Games.

At the Olympic Winter Games in 1924 in Chamonix -Mont- Blanc, he started ski jumping as well as in the combination. In ski jumping on the normal hill he reached it the 11th Place. In Nordic Combined, he reached after the 6th place in the show jumping and cross-country skiing in 19th place in the 16th overall in singles. In the Nordic World Ski Championships 1926 in Lahti Jääskeläinen jumped on the normal hill on the 8th Place and in the combination reached the 18th place.
